What is your strategy for dealing with uncooperative patients experiencing a crisis? Can you give some examples of how you dealt with these issues?
Your response should reflect both your experience with the specific conditions being discussed as well as your ability to adjust to any new ones that could come up. Cite specific examples of similar situations with uncooperative people and similar situations you have experience in but also express eagerness to learn new techniques. The interviewer will want to be able to picture you in the position doing the job. If your experience with this type of patient is limited, talk about previous instances where you had to adjust quickly to something new. When answering questions it's a good idea to end on the question with a response that will help to turn the interview into more of a conversation. Ask if you answered their question adequately or if they'd like to hear more information.
