Tell us about a time where you developed a game strategy that worked. What was the strategy?
This situational or scenario type of question intends to uncover how you approach things, and this presents an opportunity for you to demonstrate how your experience made the difference. You should cite examples and point to specific coaching or scouting accomplishments in your response but how you answer is as important as what you answer, especially with this particular line of questioning. One of the things the interviewer will be looking for in your response is how confident you are in what you do and how much you rely on your abilities to make good things happen. That's why they've asked you to give an example.
