A team member just called in sick and you have a doctor's appointment in the afternoon. How do you decide what to do?
Your interviewer wants to be able to actually picture you in the job working in harmony with other team members and is probing to find out your level of flexibility and team attitude. In other words, they want to know how well you connect their dots. Having a cohesive team with high morale is extremely important and your personal work attitude will be a factor in the decision. Make sure the interviewer understands how well you've worked on teams before and how well you could adapt to their team. Give them an idea of how you'd handle this scheduling situation and step up on their behalf to support the department and customers.
