  JOB SEARCH TUTORIALS AND TIPS

  VIDEO LIBRARY

You’ve hopefully had a chance to sample the eLearning job search videos we introduced recently. These were created with the mission of educating users on best practices for conducting a job search and were designed for audiences of all levels. Topics are handled in two parts – 1st an Overview, and 2nd, a Top 10 Tips piece. We made them as short and concise as possible, so they’re packed with a lot of information. They’re designed to be curriculum-friendly, classroom-friendly, engaging and motivational.

Anyone with Admin system privileges can select and activate these videos, which are complimentary.

There are 74 videos in total, all around 5 minutes in length. Script creation was managed by our Senior Content Executive, Martha Lempicke who has over 30 years of experience in the employment industry.

Also, you may recognize our presenter, David Schifter, an Emmy Award-winning investigative journalist and professional actor.

Believe it or not, David has recorded
over 24,000 videos for us!

COVER NOTES - A LESS FORMAL ALTERNATIVE TO COVER LETTERS

Times may have changed, but the importance of a cover communication to accompany a resume continues to be important. Written communication skills remain near the top of the list of most desired skills by employers, but sometimes the less formal cover note is sufficient. We’ve added a category in the Letter Builder called Cover Notes. Also, check out the latest tutorials entitled Cover Letters and Notes, and Top 10 Tips for Cover Letters and Notes if you haven’t already done so.
