Would you consider yourself more of a people-person or a someone who works better independently?
Your interviewer wants to be able to actually picture you on the team and working in this accounting job and would like to find out about your people skills and preferences. You'll be asked to paint that picture in broad strokes so that they understand all of the ins and outs of how you interact with others including supervisors or managers. In other words, they want to know how well you connect the dots. So we all know that as an accountant you should be accustomed to working with other team members in addition to working independently on a daily basis. When asked about this in an interview, try to think more in terms of what your team achieved first and then address your personal contributions. Describe how well you're able to work with your coworkers.
